The Regina Red Sox dropped their second in a row last night to the Swift Current 57s, losing 5-1 in Western Canadian Baseball League action.
The Red Sox had 11 hits in the game but couldn’t push enough runs across. Third baseman Dylan Edmands scored the Red Sox’s only run of the game in the eighth on a sacrifice fly from the bat of Karten Vasquez.
The Red Sox have played five games already this year against the 57s, winning two of them. The 3-and-3 Red Sox will have today off before they face the Moose Jaw Miller Express at Currie Field Monday night.
