SaskTel has announced residents of another five rural communities in the Regina district can now enjoy faster internet speeds and the next-generation in tv.
Download speeds up to 25 and 50 Mpbs are the fastest rural internet packages offered by SaskTel.
With the latest expansion, SaskTel now offers internet packages with speeds of up to 50 Mpbs or faster in over 330 communities.
The latest communities receiving the improvements are Avonlea, Rouleau, Grand Coulee, Pense and Wilcox.
SaskTel is investing 324 million dollars across Saskatchewan in 2020-21 and over 1.6 billion dollars through to 2025.
