The Prime Minister says a first ministers meeting will be held Thursday night via telephone.

During his daily COVID-19 briefing in Ottawa, Justin Trudeau said the goal is simple, to keep people safe.

“Over the last few weeks in the face of an unprecedented challenge, we’ve seen all levels of government cooperating on our response,” Trudeau said. “Going forward that collaboration will become even more important, we will be there to support the provinces and territories with whatever they need,” Trudeau stated.

Trudeau also said a shipment of one-million masks arrived in Hamilton, which will go to health care workers across the country.
