The Humboldt Broncos annual Lottery of Cash will have another grand prize winner of $100,000 on Saturday.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic ticket sales have been lower than in years previous.

The teams marketing manager Rory McGouran, said their hope this year is to just break even, adding they were given the option to push the draw back to later in 2020, something they elected not to do for the sake of those who have bought tickets.

“We’re still going to give the money away Saturday, the $100,000 and all the subsidiary draws,” he said. “It’s all still going this Saturday, because we couldn’t hold it off for the people that support us year-in and year-out, we just couldn’t hold out another five or six months to do the draw,” McGouran added.

McGouran said those discussions were held after the SLGA gave them the option to move the draw to August.

The deadline to buy tickets is tonight at 7:00 p.m., tickets can be purchased in person at the Humboldt Broncos team office, on the phone by calling 1-844-945-2020, or by filling out an online order form that can be found on the teams website.

Tickets for the main lottery are one for $100 or five for $250, while the 50/50 Add-On go one for $20, five for $50, or 20 for $100.
