Those needing a COVID-19 test from the Regina drive-thru clinic will have more time to do so.

The site, located at Evraz Place, is now open from 8:30 AM until 11:00 PM every day.

While the drive-thru clinic is experiencing higher than normal wait times due to increased demand, the Saskatchewan Health Authority says residents should still get tested, even if they have just mild symptoms.

The SHA also advises residents that the drive-thru clinic operates on a first come-first served basis.

The new hours will remain in effect until testing demand and the spread of COVID-19 in Regina decreases.
