Rams hope to rebound against undefeated U of C Dinos Friday night

The University of Regina Rams (1-2) hope to get back into the win column tonight in Calgary when they face the undefeated Dinos (3-0).

Rams Coach Steve Bryce said they need a bounce back after a large loss against the U of S last week.

“We need to stop putting ourselves in bad positions and making mistakes, especially from some of our more mature players,” Bryce said.

“The U of S had some long long drives that we provided to them, our mistakes lead to them having long drives and it put our defense on the field for most of the game,” said Bryce.

Bryce went on to say if they hope to have any chance of picking up a win Friday night those mistakes need to be limited against a very good Dinos team.

“We are moving the ball down the field, the stats will tell you that, but we’re stalling on those mistakes lately, we’re not stalling on just being beaten,” said Bryce. “We’re stalling on drops and mental errors and penalties, defensively to you look at some of the plays made and we’ve been setting opponents up for success.”

Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
