Saskatoon man charged with impaired driving after hitting five-year-old

Saskatoon Police have charged a 31-year-old man with impaired driving following a Saturday evening collision with a child.

The boy was hit by a truck at around 7:20pm on Saskatoon’s 21st Street West. He was taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries. Fortunately, the youngster is expected to recover according to a Saskatoon Police Service news release.

The man has been charged with Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm and Exceeding the Legal Alcohol Limit Causing Bodily Harm.
