Saskatchewan’s minimum wage is going up October 1st

Minimum wage will be getting a bump in Saskatchewan come October 1st.

Employees making the minimum will see their wage go from $11.06 an hour to $11.32.

The province says the change will be the 11th increase since 2007, when minimum wage was $7.95.

However the increase is not enough to move the province out of last place when it comes to minimum wage.

Manitoba is the next lowest at $11.35 followed by Newfoundland and Labrador at $11.40.
