The Saskatchewan Roughriders return to the practice field tomorrow, to start preparations for Thursday night’s game against the Alouettes in Montreal.
The Riders are coming off a 26-16 win over the Edmonton Elks on Saturday, improving Saskatchewan’s record to 2-0.
A lot of attention will be on the status of star receiver Duke Williams, who sat out the Edmonton game with an injured ankle. Regina product Mitch Picton stepped into the starter’s role and contributed a fourth quarter touchdown reception and subsequent two-point convert. The team will also provide an injury update on veteran centre Dan Clark, who suffered a leg or ankle injury in the win over the Elks.
The Riders and Als kickoff at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. 620 CKRM’s coverage begins with the pre-game show at 2:30.
