A pair of weekend events has the City of Regina pausing construction on Lewvan Drive.

The City announced that they are pausing construction on the project so residents can attend the Cathedral Arts Festival Street Fair and the Saskatchewan Roughriders preseason game on Saturday.

The arts festival is set to take place on 13th Avenue between Albert Street and Elphinstone Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the Rougrider’s preseason game against the B.C. Lions are kicking off at 5 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium.

The restrictions will be put back in place Sunday evening, with the next phase of construction starting between 13th and 11th Avenue on Monday.
