The next phase of construction on Lewvan Drive is underway.

The construction will see crews working in the northbound lanes between 13th Avenue and 11th Avenue to complete concrete work and replace the medians. This phase will include intersection improvements at Lewvan Drive and Saskatchewan Drive.

“There will be no access on or off Saskatchewan Drive at Lewvan Drive, with the exception of westbound traffic on Saskatchewan Drive turning north onto Lewvan Drive,” the City said in a news release.

Following a weekend of no restrictions, motorists can expect to see traffic restrictions once again, as two-way traffic will be maintained on Lewvan Drive in the southbound lanes.

The work is expected to take about six weeks to complete.
