Red Sox cruise past Beavers

The Regina Red Sox bats were in full swing on Wednesday night as they defeated the Weyburn Beavers 7-1.

Regina was able to grab an early scoring three runs by the end of the third inning. The Red Sox would put the game out of reach in the 7th inning after they scored three more runs.

John Henry pitched a complete game for the Red Sox to earn the win. He allowed a run on four hits and recorded eight strikeouts.

DH Michael Zinter led the Red Sox at the plate 2 for 4 with three RBIs.

Left Fielder Max Lecroy had three hits and a stolen base.

Next action for the Red Sox is tonight when they travel to Swift Current to meet the 57’s.
