On Friday, the Regina Pats made a pair of selections in the CHL Import Draft.
With the 25th pick in the draft, the Pats selected Austrian forward Luca Auer. Regina then picked up goalie, Michael Hrabel with the 85th overall pick.
Auer spent most of last season with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors, where he led the team in points (48) and finished 10th overall in league scoring. The native of Graz also spent 12 games with EC Salzburg.
Hrabel is a 17 year old from Czechia who played 24 games with Sparta Praha, finishing up with a .936 save percentage and a 2.14 G.A.A.
He also played with the U17 Czechia team and compiled a record of 4-2 , .911 save percentage and a 2.83 G.A.A.
