The province has opened up vaccine booking eligibility to people 44 and over on Thursday morning, but the Saskatchewan Health Authority says so many people are looking for appointments that they can’t keep up the demand due to vaccine supply.
The SHA adds additional clinics will be added to the Patient Booking system as new shipments are received.
While the province opened up eligibility to those 44 and over this morning, the plan is for everyone over 40 to start getting vaccinated April 28th which is next Wednesday.
#Sask residents will notice there are more clinic options in rural & northern communities than in urban centres like #Regina & #Saskatoon. That is b/c all appointments in these centres are currently booked. We expect more appointm’ts to be added in these communities by Apr 28.
