Just two weeks after opening its doors to the public, Regina’s newest movie theatre complex had a major problem on Monday.
A burst water pipe forced the theatre to shut down during afternoon showings, but repairs were made allowing for late evening movie-goers to attend without problem.
In a statement from Landmark, they say “This was an unfortunate incident and we apologize to guests whose experience was disrupted.”
Customers who had their movie-going experience interrupted because of the problem were given their money back and a voucher for a free film.
The eight-theatre complex in east Regina opened earlier this month.
