Police looking for two men after Saturday morning gun incident

At approximately 8:37 am Saturday, Regina Police responded to a call of gunshots on the 3700 block of 5th Avenue.

Police attended and located evidence that a firearm was discharged. On further investigation, it was determined that a silver SUV was parked in the parking lot of a business when a male suspect approached the vehicle on foot and pointed a firearm at the SUV. The suspect driver of the SUV then exited the vehicle and pointed a firearm back at suspect #1. It’s believed one of the suspects fired several rounds.

Suspect #1 is described as a male Aboriginal, approximately 20 years old with short hair wearing a black T-shirt with a slim build.
Suspect #2 is described as a male in his 30’s wearing a black T-shirt, heavy build with short hair.

Police have no information suggesting anyone was injured during the incident. This doesn’t appear to be a random act however; the incident itself posed a significant risk to the public. The investigation is ongoing therefore more information may be released at a later date.

Anyone with information that could assist police in this investigation is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800 222-8477.
