An early morning incident in Regina Thursday has led to two men facing charges of assault with a weapon.

Police were called just before 2 a.m. to a business in the 1100 block of Angus Street where a caller said multiple people had been bear sprayed.

Witnesses said two males left the area in a taxi and provided a description. Two occupants of a taxi matching the description were located and stopped.

Keanu Liam Cappo, 20, and Shane Stiles Kennedy, 21, made their first appearances in provincial court Thursday morning.
