Fire in Building on Rotary Ave Under Investigation

Regina fire crews took care of a fire in a large commercial structure on the 12000 Blk of Rotary Ave. That’s near the Global Transportation Hub. The fire was quickly brought under control and did not extend into other areas of the building. Fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.

Edgar Street police operation concluded, matter under further investigation

Police say the police operation in the 800 block of Edgar Street is now concluded. Residents in the area can resume their regular activities. Police say there were shots fired somewhere on the block earlier this morning and had issued a temporary shelter-in-place advisory for that area’s residents. The investigation is ongoing.
