Two Saskatchewan products go in first round of 2020 NHL draft

Prince Albert’s Braden Schneider and Saskatoon’s Connor Zary heard their names get called at the 2020 NHL Draft Tuesday night. Schneider went with the 19th overall pick to the New York Rangers. For the second time in three years, the Western Hockey League has produced seven first-rounders in the NHL Draft. The Chicago Blackhawks made Saskatoon Blades forward Kirby Dach (pictured) the 3rd pick overall.
