Collision northwest of Fillmore leaves 27-year-old dead

A 27-year-old man from Winnipeg is dead after his vehicle collided with a semi northwest of Fillmore. At 3:50 p.m., Weyburn RCMP received a collision report on Highway #33. An initial investigation determined a semi and a car collided. The driver and sole occupant of the car were declared deceased by EMS at the scene. […]

House damaged by fire on Garnet Street

Investigators are looking into a house fire this (Sunday) morning. It broke out in a home on Garnet near 5th just before 8 o’clock in the morning. There was smoke and flames visible when firefighters rolled up. The fire was quickly contained to the main floor, and quickly put out. No one was hurt.
