The Saskatchewan Health Authority has formally assumed responsibility for five Extendicare long term homes in Saskatchewan. There are three care homes in Regina, one in Moose Jaw and another in Saskatoon under the Extendicare banner. The agreement was announced last October but became efffective this past weekend.
